Over the last six months or so, Kali and Sadie have invented some friends. They started out with just Amy and Justin. Amy was Kali's friend and Justin was Sadie's. Then they started talking about George and Brian (Sadie's). Now they have included Pumpkin (Kali's) and Vanessa and Jim (Sadie's). I think they were bored of just having each other to play with so they came up with these other people that have unique personalities. This way they feel like they have more friends to play with. They know that they're not real, but I'm not allowed to call them "imaginary friends". Maybe I need to allow my children to have more playdates.
