Goofy

I just thought I'd include this picture of Sadie because it's typical of her personality. I swear her goal in life is to be goofy and make people laugh. And most days she succeeds.

Piano

Kali has been taking piano lessons from Grandma Bohman since December and is doing really well. It helps that I'm able to sit down with her every day while she's practicing the piano. It's almost like she's getting a 30 minute lesson every day that way. She's already finished one book and is half way done with her second book. She can already play with both hands at the same time and most of the songs have duets that I play with her. She really enjoys the duets.

Independence Day

For family home evening tonight, Josh taught a lesson about the 4th of July. Then the girls decorated a flag cake out of cool whip and strawberries. It turned out pretty cute.

Taylorsville Dayzz

Every year we go to Taylorsville Dayzz and watch the fireworks. This year was a ton of fun because Kali and Sadie had each other to get excited with.

Ashlyn

I just had to throw in a picture of Ashlyn. She's so cute and no longer has that newborn look.

Lagoon

Our family went to Lagoon last week for the annual Spillman Lagoon Day. Josh's work pays for us to go and the girls just love it. I was a little nervous that Ashlyn was going to make it a little more stressful, but she thankfully slept the entire 4 hrs. 20 mins. we were there. It was perfect!!

Soccer

Kali just finished her third soccer season. She's really caught the hang of it. In her last game alone, she scored 4 goals. We can't wait to start Sadie in soccer this fall. She's just excited that she'll have her own little uniform.

Hair Cut

Kali has been telling me for a while that she wanted to get her hair cut short enough to feel the wind on her neck. I told her that when it warmed up, she could get it done. Aunt Nicole did a great job and Kali is loving it.

The New Deck

Many of you know that Josh took on the project of tearing down the deck and building a new one. Well, last June he helped the old deck fall down and here we are a year later and the new one is complete. As you can see from the before and after pictures, it was well worth the wait. Our new one is amazing!!!
