Kali's second round of discovery was with clay. They got to make and glaze a pinch pot, a jack-o-lantern, and some sea creatures. Then today they had a celebration of learning where they presented what they made, told about the process and shared what they learned with family and other students in the school. It's fun to see how much she's learning and how well she does at school.
As a side note, the other girl in this picture is her best friend from school, Alyssa. They happened to get paired up on the first day of kindergarten and have been inseparable ever since. I couldn't have picked a better friend for her. Alyssa is a very good and kind child and she and Kali always have fun together.
