Lagoon

Once again, we got to enjoy a day at Lagoon thanks to Josh's work. The girls look forward to it so much. This year was a little different because we had to divide and conquer. Kali is now to the age where she likes the fast rides. So Josh took off with Kali while I watched Emma and took Sadie and Ashlyn around. We had planned to meet up at lunch, but after going on three rides with Kali, Josh's stomach couldn't handle anymore and we had to switch.

Sadie would have gone on the fast rides too, but she's still too short to go on most of them. Instead she was a good sport and went with Ashlyn on the kiddie rides, and it's a good thing too. Ashlyn wouldn't have gone by herself. She started crying on the first ride, but thanks to Sadie, kept trying new rides and eventually warmed up to it and began to enjoy herself.

We ended up staying a lot longer this year in order to make sure we hit most of the rides, but as always the girls got to finish off the day playing in the water spouts. This year it was so hot that the girls were just begging to get wet. It turned out to be a fun day.
