Soccer

Kali just finished her third soccer season. She's really caught the hang of it. In her last game alone, she scored 4 goals. We can't wait to start Sadie in soccer this fall. She's just excited that she'll have her own little uniform.

Hair Cut

Kali has been telling me for a while that she wanted to get her hair cut short enough to feel the wind on her neck. I told her that when it warmed up, she could get it done. Aunt Nicole did a great job and Kali is loving it.

The New Deck

Many of you know that Josh took on the project of tearing down the deck and building a new one. Well, last June he helped the old deck fall down and here we are a year later and the new one is complete. As you can see from the before and after pictures, it was well worth the wait. Our new one is amazing!!!

Guys in Pink

Josh took a work trip to Texas recently and was told by a cowboy-hat-wearing sheriff that "Guys don't wear pink in Texas." When we told Grandpa Parry, he couldn't have agreed more. So we couldn't resist the opportunity to take a picture with him in the now infamous pink shirt.

Memorial Day Hike

On Memorial Day we got up early, ate donuts and chocolate milk and hiked Ensign peak as a family (and Brady). I carried Ashlyn because we thought Sadie would walk about 30 yards and then Josh would need to carry her the rest of the way. But surprise surprise, Sadie hiked all but about 30 yards. It was a fun memory and made us want to do more family hikes.

Brady's Return

Brady is finally home from the mission and the girls couldn't be more excited. Their prayers have changed from praying for Brady on his mission to praying that he'll be at Grandma Smith's house. I think they're afraid that he'll turn around and be gone for another two years. Not gonna happen! Although going away to school will probably feel like the same thing to them.

Preschool Graduation

Kali has officially graduated from preschool. Our baby will be entering kindergarten in the fall. How crazy is that!! This picture is with her six cousins that went to the same preschool as her because Grandma Bohman is her teacher.

Smile

Check out our little smiler. All you have to do is talk to her and she grins from ear to ear.

Wheeler Farm

We went to Wheeler Farm for preschool and the most exciting part was feeding the geese. Sadie did have a little of a surprise when she had one eat the food right out of her hand because she couldn't quite figure out how to throw the bird seed.

Ashlyn's Baby Blessing

Ashlyn's baby blessing was a success. She was very happy and cooperative during the whole meeting and waited to explode until after church when everyone had already had a chance to take pictures.
